Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water.
  2. Cook the sugar until it turns amber.
  3. Slowly add cream and milk to the caramel.
  4. Add salt and vanilla extract.
  5. Let the mixture cool before transferring.
  6. Store in the refrigerator.
