Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound cooked chicken shredded
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables peas, carrots, corn
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add chopped onions and garlic; sauté until translucent.
  4. Stir in the flour and cook for another minute.
  5. Gradually whisk in chicken broth and then milk.
  6. Add thyme, salt, and pepper; bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in shredded chicken and mixed vegetables; cook until heated through.
  8. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and spread evenly.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until bubbly.
