Caesar Chicken Bowl: A Nourishing Delight

Ingredients
  

  • 2 chicken breasts about 500g
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/4 cup croutons
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • For the dressing: 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste for dressing

Method
 

  1. Preheat the grill or pan over medium heat.
  2. Marinate the chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
  4. While the chicken cooks, prepare the dressing by mixing mayonnaise, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and seasoning.
  5. Chop the romaine lettuce and slice the cherry tomatoes.
  6. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  7. Assemble the bowls with chopped romaine, sliced chicken, halved tomatoes, croutons, and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Drizzle with the dressing right before serving.
