Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs flank steak
  • 1/4 cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Prepare the marinade by whisking together lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and olive oil in a bowl.
  2. Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring it's well-coated.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the flank steak from the marinade and let excess liquid drip off. Discard the marinade.
  5. Grill the flank steak for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
  6. Once grilled, let the steak rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
  7. Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips and garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
