Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can 28 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 8 oz lasagna noodles
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Method
 

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer and add the lasagna noodles.
  5. Once the noodles are tender, stir in the ricotta cheese.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, and top with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
