Crab and Shrimp Stuffed Salmon Delight

Crab and Shrimp Stuffed Salmon made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 salmon fillets 6 oz each
  • 1 cup crab meat cooked and shredded
  • 1/2 cup shrimp peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the crab meat, diced shrimp, cream cheese, breadcrumbs, Dijon mustard, parsley, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
  3. Carefully cut a pocket in each salmon fillet.
  4. Stuff each salmon fillet with the crab and shrimp mixture, packing it in gently.
  5. Place the stuffed salmon fillets in a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake the salmon for 25-30 minutes, or until the fish is flaky and the stuffing is heated through.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  8. Serve with lemon wedges and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
