Crispy Air Fryer Crab Cakes Packed with Flavor

Air Fryer Crab Cakes made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the lump crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic, and egg.
  3. Add the chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  4. Form the mixture into patties, about 3 to 4 inches in diameter.
  5. Lightly spray both sides of the crab cakes with cooking spray.
  6. Place the crab cakes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they do not touch.
  7. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
  8. Remove the crab cakes from the fryer and allow them to rest for a few minutes before serving.
