Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Whole wheat burger buns
  • Toppings of choice lettuce, tomato, avocado, etc.

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into patties, about 1/2-inch thick each.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat and lightly oil it.
  4. Cook the turkey burgers for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. Toast the whole wheat burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked patty on a bun and topping with your choice of lettuce, tomato, avocado, and any condiments.
