Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 1 bell pepper diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 8 slices provolone cheese

Method
 

  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spoon until browned.
  2. Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet, cooking until they are soft and translucent.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and Worcestershire sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for an additional minute.
  4. Preheat your broiler and prepare a baking sheet with hoagie rolls opened slightly.
  5. Fill each hoagie roll with the beef mixture and top generously with provolone cheese slices.
  6. Broil the filled hoagies for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
