Deliciously Cheesy Broccoli Casserole Recipe

Broccoli Cheese Casserole made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cooked rice or quinoa
  • 1/2 cup onion diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the broccoli florets, cooked rice or quinoa, diced onion, garlic powder, black pepper, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and 1 cup of the cheddar cheese.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  4. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
