Deliciously Fun Bite-Sized Pepperoni & Sausage Pizza Puffs

Bite-Sized Pepperoni & Sausage Pizza Puffs made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 4 oz pepperoni slices diced
  • 4 oz Italian sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 egg beaten, for egg wash
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut the pastry into squares, about 3x3 inches in size.
  4. In a bowl, combine diced pepperoni, crumbled sausage, mozzarella, pizza sauce, oregano, and garlic powder.
  5. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each pastry square.
  6. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create a pocket and press to seal.
  7. Brush the top of each puff with beaten egg.
  8. Place the sealed puffs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
