Deliciously Simple Marinated Cheese for Any Occasion

Marinated Cheese made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz block of feta cheese
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Prepare the cheese by cutting it into cubes or triangles.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, red pepper flakes, and lemon zest.
  3. Add the cheese pieces to the bowl and gently toss until well-coated.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then cover the bowl with plastic wrap.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best flavor infusion.
  6. Serve the marinated cheese on a platter drizzled with the remaining marinade.
