Deliciously Simple Strawberry Pretzel Salad Dip

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup whipped topping like Cool Whip
  • 1 cup strawberry preserves
  • 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  5. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  6. Fold in the whipped topping until well mixed.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
  8. Layer the strawberry preserves over the cream cheese mixture.
  9. Top with sliced fresh strawberries.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
