Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet 2 ¼ tsp instant yeast
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm milk 110°F
  • cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups peeled diced apples (about 2-3 medium apples)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar for icing
  • 2 tablespoons milk for icing

Method
 

  1. Prepare the dough by mixing the dry ingredients.
  2. Combine the wet ingredients: warm milk, butter, and eggs.
  3. Mix wet and dry ingredients together to form a dough.
  4. Knead the dough until smooth, then let it rise.
  5. Prepare the apple filling while the dough rises.
