Ingredients
  

  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus trimmed
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the asparagus by trimming the tough ends.
  3. Wrap each asparagus spear with a slice of bacon, starting from the bottom.
  4. Drizzle the wrapped asparagus with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Place the bacon-wrapped asparagus on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
