Flavorful Baked Dijon Salmon for Home Cooks

Baked Dijon Salmon made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 salmon fillets 6 oz each
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill or 1/3 teaspoon dried
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it with olive oil.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, dill, salt, and pepper together.
  4. Place the salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish, skin side down.
  5. Spread the Dijon mixture over the fillets, making sure to coat them evenly.
  6. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes.
  7. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  8. Serve the salmon with lemon wedges on the side.
