Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then mix in the vanilla extract.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips and dried cranberries gently.
Using a cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them a couple of inches apart.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
