Indulgent Oreo Brownies for the Perfect Treat

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 16 Oreo cookies roughly chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat.
  4. Remove the melted butter from heat and stir in the sugar, mixing until smooth.
  5. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter and sugar mixture, stirring until well combined.
  6. Sift in the cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and flour, folding gently until just combined.
  7. Gently fold in the chopped Oreo cookies into the brownie batter.
  8. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before transferring them to a wire rack for complete cooling.
  11. Cut the brownies into squares and serve as desired.
