Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
Gently fold in the roasted cherries.
Pour the batter into a greased 9x9-inch baking pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Allow to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
