Irresistible Baked Jalapeño Poppers for Every Occasion

Ingredients
  

  • 12 large jalapeño peppers
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the jalapeños by cutting them in half lengthwise and removing the seeds.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  4. Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture, pressing it in to ensure it’s securely packed.
  5. (Optional) Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the stuffed jalapeños for an added crunch.
  6. Place the stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the jalapeños are tender, and the filling is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
