Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish.
Melt the butter in a large mixing bowl.
Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar, then mix until well combined.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
Sift the flour and fold it into the mixture gently.
Stir in the chocolate chips and half of the caramel sauce.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are set but the center remains moist.
Drizzle the remaining caramel on top while still warm.
Let it cool completely before slicing.
