Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped

Method
 

  1. Rinse and prepare shrimp.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds.
  4. Add shrimp and cook until pink.
  5. In a bowl, mix lemon juice, zest, soy sauce, and brown sugar.
  6. Pour the sauce over the shrimp.
  7. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in green onions and cilantro.
  9. Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
