Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces spaghetti or linguine
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes halved
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil roughly chopped
  • Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Sauté the tomatoes until they soften and burst, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine.
  7. Mix in the fresh basil, adjusting seasoning if necessary.
  8. Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
