Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 3/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 4 cups tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded cheese cheddar or Monterey Jack
  • 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños fresh or pickled
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • Sour cream for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken and BBQ sauce.
  3. Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a large, oven-safe platter.
  4. Layer the BBQ chicken mixture over the chips.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly on top.
  6. Add jalapeños and diced red onions on top of the cheese.
  7. Bake the nachos in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven and garnish with cilantro and sour cream.
  9. Serve immediately while hot.
