Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/2 cup cucumber diced
  • 1/2 cup pickles sliced
  • 1 avocado diced
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese optional
  • 1/4 cup burger sauce or dressing

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Form the beef mixture into uniform patties, about 1/4 pound each.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare your toppings: chop vegetables and set aside.
  5. Once cooked, remove the patties from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes.
  6. In bowls, layer the mixed greens as the base, followed by sliced cucumbers and cherry tomatoes.
  7. Place a cooked burger patty on top of the greens and add pickles and diced avocado.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the burger and finish with your choice of dressing.
