Savory Baked Dijon Salmon Recipe for Home Cooks

Ingredients
  

  • 2 salmon fillets 6 oz each
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon sliced (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it with olive oil.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish, skin-side down.
  5. Spread the mustard mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with lemon slices before serving.
