- Slice the onions thinly.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and salt to the pan.
- Cook for about 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- While onions are cooking, boil the spaghetti in salted water.
- Reserve some pasta water before draining the spaghetti.
- Add cooked spaghetti to the caramelized onions and mix well.
- Drizzle with chili oil and black pepper, adjusting to taste.
- Serve immediately, garnished with parsley.
