Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber grated
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic minced (for tzatziki)
  • Salt to taste for tzatziki

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, parsley, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Mix gently until just combined, then form into 1-inch meatballs.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until cooked through and golden.
  6. While the meatballs are baking, prepare the tzatziki by mixing yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, minced garlic, and salt in a bowl.
  7. Chill the tzatziki in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  8. Once the meatballs are done, serve hot with tzatziki on the side.
