Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the chicken breasts by pounding them to an even thickness.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, dried herbs, and parsley.
  4. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  5. Coat each chicken breast with the Parmesan mixture, pressing firmly to adhere.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over the coated chicken to promote browning.
  7. Place the chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  9. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
