Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup peach preserves
  • 1/4 cup whiskey
  • 1/2 cup ketchup

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, parsley, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until they are browned and cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, prepare the whiskey peach BBQ sauce by combining peach preserves, whiskey, and ketchup in a saucepan.
  6. Simmer the sauce for about 10 minutes, until slightly thickened.
  7. Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
  8. Toss the meatballs in the whiskey peach BBQ sauce until well coated.
