Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet.
  3. Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook until softened.
  4. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef.
  5. Season with salt and pepper as the beef cooks.
  6. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Reduce heat to low and lay cheese slices over the beef mixture.
  8. Prepare hoagie rolls by slicing them open without cutting all the way through.
